Not much to tell. They're the best single-action pistol in the world. These two are in .40 S&W. The HiPower was designed in part by John M. Browning, and after he passed away the design was finished up by Dieudonne Saive, who also worked for FN as a designer.

With the release of the .40 caliber, FN switched to cast frames for all their HiPowers. In testing, the cast frames proved to be stronger than the forged frames, that frequently cracked under the stress of the .40 round.
