Nope. LSD was first synthesized on November 16, 1938, by Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann at the Sandoz Laboratories in Basel, Switzerland. Timothy Leary popularized LSD. He coined the phrase, "Tune in, turn on, drop out."
I never knew that. I knew a couple of guys in college who lived by that saying and I now go out of my way to put a couple of bucks in there tin cup under the expressway. I lost two good childhood friends in higschool to drug's...LSD and Speed. This is why I have raised my children with a simple phrase "Drugs are for losers" and you are not losers, ever"
