I think I'm finally ready to speak of the matter...

As it turns out, my muk arrived nearly two months ago in the first batch. The knife, being a relatively low number, was immediately rewrapped and put it back in the smallish box in which it arrived. I did the right thing and sent a PM to the JYD to whom it numerically belonged.

While the details of the trade (with one of our most esteemed dogs) were worked out, I had to go out of town on business for a few days. While I was gone, my wife decided to paint the kitchen and... Decided to throw the cardboard box on the counter stuffed with brown paper (AND THE SMLE) in the recycling! By the time I returned home, it had been collected curb-side.

Therefore, I have no muk. A JYD has no muk with his JYD number on it. A fine piece of 154CM may still be somewhere in a massive sorting facility, wrapped in paper, as clean and new as the day it left Ohio. Women. Can't live with them - can't kill 'em.

I think my despair over the whole matter (not so much for my loss as for the loss for the other guy) has really wrecked my spring. I really need a low # S5LE to trade with a JYD to restore karmic justice! Therefore, bring the 'CG's then the 'LE's (and do it soon while my wife's guilt allows me some purchasing power)!
