My 7" Ka-Bar Marine Combat is only about 1/8" thick. Nobody thinks of the Marine Combat knife as wimpy. I am quite sure that the Scrapper 5 will be thick enough to do the job. Dan didn't just fall out of the turnip truck. When did he ever offer a knife that wasn't tough? Probably the most delicate Scrapper is the 1/8" thick Bird Dog. Not a pry bar for sure, but it sure slices well and I have stuck mine in trees throwing it with no damage at all to that fine little point. It is my favorite EDC fixed blade. Relax, dogs, it's a Scrapper!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
