I bought the knife. I did a whole convex grind from spine to edge on it. I had Jeff make me a beautiful leather sheath for it. I have used it. But I never posted a review of it. Until now. I'll admit, it cuts a bit better than it does with a factory edge. But a good sharp one can do anything this one can do.

Specs: Blade length 6 7/16" long x 1 7/8" wide x 5/32" thick after grinding. They come 3/16" thick. This one weighs 13 1/2 oz, or about the same as my SODLE.
Steel is INFI, handle is micarta.




First, I spied some light vegetation out back. I need to trim this.



Swish! Done!



Maybe cut some thin slivers of wood for fire starting. The razor sharp Steel Heart does it with ease on any part of the blade.



Chop hard dry oak? Nothing to it. About 20 chops, and this is hard stuff.





And the edge still shaves just fine.




Now I'll split what I just chopped, using one part for a baton.

Piece of cake. I can notch even with the tip, this knife handles so well.

It slashes through free standing woody brush with speed and ease.

After washing the blade, it would slice very thin slices of apple.

This is a great all around field and combat knife.
