If there is only one knife you could own...ounce for ounce , dollar for dollar..you have found the right place. I have USED many makers blades over 40yrs , and have NOT found one to out flank a ScrapYard product. There are more expensive and cheaper makes and models. but for durability the Busse Family of fine blades can't be beat. The first time I traded for a Busse , I thought....Nice knife , but how durable??? What's its performance like?? This knife did everything I could throw at it.....and just smiled at me. Many custom makers have very good blades(at 3x the price). If you find ANYTHING better , PLEASE let the rest of us know. Good Luck and welcome.
