OK, enough evasion: Start with the NMSFNO, then make the blade about 1/3 inch wider (from spine to edge), replace the thumb groove with a thumb ramp (and move the ramp forward about 1/4 or 1/3 inch from where the groove is), and give it a Resiprene C handle, and make the convex edge a little more acute. Perhaps make it a little fatter, like 5/16th inch thick.
