I also have had great results with 154. I believe that ATS is pretty much the same as 154 and I have several customs made out of this. I might be missing something here so I will ask. If someone wanted an LE made out of 101 couldn't they merely strip the black duracoat and buff it up like Vic and others do ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> The coating comes off via the directions we have seen posted many times or someone like Vic or others could maybe do this for you ? I have several Rangers that I have had stripped and then new scales and spacers put on to make a semi custom that I like <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. The steel is 5160 so maybe that makes a differance ? Is 101 different and this doesn't work ? In the end I don't care if the LE comes in INFI or 154 as I like the design- plus I really like the pricing on these knives <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />!! The SY steel is a great bargain in my opinion . I can buy 3-4 S5s for what I pay for just one custom.
