I can't answer that question. What I CAN tell you is that SR-77 is a derivative of S7 and SR-101 is a derivative of 52100-B. The "SR" designations and heat treat methods are proprietary to Jerry Busse.
Yes, I know that. but I'm interesting in why did they named these steels like that. Just curious.
Now I know INFI comes from "infinity".
