I can't imagine what it must be like with the nearest neighbor 1/4 of a mile away!
I live in a town house so I can't even imagine someone breaking into my house!

Somehow I would expect someone like you to be prepared though.

I too have heard to just wait for the cops and don't search the house... but if I was armed I can't imagine myself NOT checking out the situation.
