Gambit, great pic's! I actually work for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County and have been through here doing restoration projects.

The Busse name is from the locals (named Busse) that once lived in the area. In fact there was a blacksmith, I believe in Des Plaines, not far from here whose last name was Busse.

I brought the name up to Jerry, years ago around 1997 when i ordered one of his SHBM and he said that they had relations here at that time, around the turn of the century. I think maybe Dan commented on it a couple of years ago... I am not sure. I have often thought about taking knife shots on the signs and posting them.

Dan, could you please shed some light on this. It is a suburb just west of Chicago.
