Well guys I said I'd put these up a while back, but I've been so busy, it took a while too get back to it. And I'm still very busy so I'll keep the chatter to a minimum so I can get back to work.

I managed to get away for a few days in June with the family on a much needed vacation to the beach. We stayed on Saint George Island on the Forgotten Coast on the Panhandle of Florida. I've found that I really like that area because it's not quite as crowded and commercialized as some of the other areas.

Here's a few of the blades I took along... I think I over packed a little...

My beach combing blades. The Muk was my favorite to carry.

One of the things that myself and my daughter like to do while on the Beach is build sand castles and stuff, so we had a lot of fun seeing what we could come up with.

There was a Light house on the Island nd they wanted $5 per person just to go to the top... So we decided to build our own, it was around 3 feet tall and actually lasted more than 24 hours and then somebodies dog got a hold of it...

We called this one Pele... I'm not sure what happened here, we started out talking about the face on Mars and this is what developed...

Then finally on the last day I got a chance to do something I'd been wanting to do all week, I didn't have quite as much time as I'd hoped and it was starting to get dark on us, so it didn't turn out perfect, but not bad I guess...

And the Muk for scale.

Interesting how subtle the color difference is the green has just a slight bit of a green tent to it.
