The Bravo-1 has a 4.25" blade. It compares with the YK or SS4. I have been asking for 5" Bravo, but he made a 3.75" Gunny, 7" Bravo-2 and soon a 9" or 10" Bravo-3 is coming. I prefer a 5" to 6" blade for an all-around fixed blade knife. I carry a 4" folder all the time anyway.

Thanks HD. I think I'm convinced now to take the Camp Tramp (or a hatchet or folding saw) if I know there will/might be chopping/cutting wood involved...otherwise the S5 should do for hiking and regular camp type chores. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
