Some of the best black bear hunting in the world is on Vancouver Island.
When I was younger I used to work my cousins shake claim near Campbell River in the summers.
Saw lots of bears, didn't make much money as I would go there for a month and we would go out get a cord then somehow we wound up fishing instead of getting a second cord.
My aunt and cousin both passed away in the early 1990's and I haven't been back since the funerals.
But man Pit those pictures always bring back great memories
