I have not used it yet on a knife but the DuraCoat, KG Industries, and Norrels Moly Coat all have been used in the past for guns. I am not sure about using them on a knife with Res-C since the coating needs to b cured in an oven to harden it up, don't want to melt the handle on a blade!
