I'd prefer something like this come out from Scrap Yard, personally. My rationale: the closer it gets to a machete, the tougher the pricing becomes. Dan has proven to be THE unquestioned king of value in his blades. Dan = TUKOV (sounds somewhat Russian, eh?). Anyways, my point is that I'd trust him to bring us toughness in that thinner, longer blade in an economical package that we could all feel good about relative to those cheaper, "beater" machete options.
