I really like the FAL. My dad and I have a some nice one's between us. His Israeli Heavy Barrel is the best looking FAL I have seen. The bipod is a weapon in and of itself. My Imbel receivered FAL has a 16 1/2" threaded barrel and that has worked out really nice. They do get a bit heavy in an 8 hour training class, but the weight lessons the recoil so it evens out in the end.
