The DFLE, and a handful of coated DF's from shows, has a full flat grind, meaning it's lighter and quicker in the hand.

The DFCG is a saber grind, as is the DDF, although one of them has a larger flat area, meaning even heavier (I think the DDF is the heavier one?) The difference between those two is going to be a lot more subtle than the difference between the full flat and saber grind.

I actually usually prefer full flat to saber, but I had to jump on the opportunity to get a dogfather at retail cost. I might end up putting a ful convex on mine, Horn Dog style <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
