I'm sensing a theme with the Belgian Beers . . .

If you like Ommengang and Westvleteren, give St. Bernardus ABT 12 a try. I think Westvleteren scored a 100 on BA and St. Bernardus scored a 99.

P-easy, Chimay Blue is probably one of my favorite belgians. We tried replicating it not too long ago. Came close but not quite there. Those monks have fine honed their craft over the last 300-400 years.

In the Belgian spirit, give Duvel, Gulden Draak and Westmalle. While brewing belgians we needed "inspiration" and really like those 3.

I like Duvel a lot, but have not tried the other two. I will keep an eye out for them.

And yes, I have a thing for Belgian brews. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
