Dan that is great advice. I am going to call my local range tomorrow and find out when the next match is. I do need to get a shotgun that will accept more shells however. that is really the only thing that I don't have. I do have hunting shotguns and personal defense shotguns but those won't fair very well at a 3 gun shoot.

A trick that I learned in picking a shotgun and it works everytime is to pick the gun up, close your eyes, shoulder the gun...so it feels natural and quick and then only when you feel that the gun is in the right spot for you...open your sighting eye and see if the beads or sights line up. Don't change the position of your head or shouldering. If your eye aligns with the plane of the gun and the sight or beads aligns...you got a winner that will be hard to miss with.....................If not...move on to a different gun.
