Nice score on the Northwinds, that is high on my list. I am looking forward to a review of it and the Waki.... I am guessing since the Waki can ba handled with 2 hands you can get more force out of your swing and would prob chop better. Nice looking blade....
I would think the Northwind will outchop the Waki as they come from the factory. My AK could not compare until Ban worked his magic on it. The Northwind is still better at draw cuts though.
