I was able to "drive through" Yosemite when I was about 12 with my parents. And able to see some of the gorgeous scenary. But, unfortunately, I was unable to "REALLY" enjoy it. We drove through it in one day without staying. I didn't get to hike, camp, explore, etc. ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

And I still remember LOVING it and thinking it had to be one of the most gorgeous places I had ever seen. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

I have been lucky to be able to visit a few other very nice places over the years, but still keep thinking I rememeber Yosemite being about as good as it gets. And I have been dying to get back there and really visit again some day.
