I can understand that. But would it be possible for two full flat ground knives with exactly the same blade width, blade length, blade thickness and blade shape to be different dimensionally? That doesn't make sense to me.
I'm saying that there's no reason to automatically believe they have the same blade thickness. At least one person has reported that his seemed thinner, although that's just anecdotal at this point.
I don't think it's all that likely that they actually ARE thinner, but it would sure be cool if they were. It's not all that difficult to stick a different thickness of stock into a CNC machine.
