Is that Dimple Pinch very "peaty". I am on the lookout to try some Macallan but I am having a hard time getting past the peaty/smokiness of Scotch.
I personally don't think its peaty. Now I'm smelling it and tasting it just to see. I guess I never noticed. To me it is just very smooth with the slightest carmel hint. I just finished a cigar so my buds might be off a little but I never noticed much of a smoky flavor either. It definitely has a strong aroma that does not match the subdued and mellow flavor once I take a sip.
