I am glad the pain meds worked on you. Oxicodone hardly does anything for my pain anymore and simply makes me nauseous as often as it seems to help with the pain. I have just spent three months looking into a prostatitus one to eventually be told that all that pain and, uh, other symptoms, are all generated from my lower back. I went to a pain specialist two days ago who refused to see me because I also goto a headache specialist and noone will do anything for my back pain because, "you are already on enough pain medications," Yeah really? If that were the case why the H E double hockey sticks am I coming to you???

I will say that although it sucks to go through the pain it is very fortunate that another potential problem was diagnosed at the same time. The best I have done with actually getting diagnosis is to have an infection disease specialist tell me that the elevated white blood cell count in my spinal column is from the pain I am in and not from meningitis. (I then had a different doctor tell me the next day that there is nothing wrong with me.)
