Patti and I will be married 26 years tomorrow. I have a nice place picked out for dinner and we will celebrate this event once again.
The real accomplishment for me is not having any gun fire directed at me in those 26 years. LOL seriously!!!
It seems like it was only yesterday when I lost my hearing from fright up on the alter and my best man, Jerry, grabbed & crushed my elbow and whispered those immortal words "Dan say ""I DO"" or I will kill you right here"...my hearing instantly came back and I mumbled the words. Best thing I ever did and the best thing Jerry ever did for me.
It is a long time, that has gone by amazingly quick. Patti always says we got married at a great time of the year...a time to be thankful. I always say two turkeys bit the dust that year
I may not be on the forum tomorrow night so allow me to wish you the best of Thanksgivings and enjoy your friends and family. And for those outside the U.S. take a moment to give thanks for those people and things we have in life
