Great review and comparison, MM. Yesterday I cut up one of my dead Bay trees with the chain saw and split all the wood for an upcoming oyster roast fire. I put the megabucks Killa Zilla up against my 25 year old Gerber camp axe spitting wood. The Gerber won. As a chopper the KZ does very well with its reprofiled convex edge. The original edge was so dull, I ended up grinding of the "Test Team" logo just thinning it out. Had a pile of INFI dust before I got that beast sharp enough to compete with any of my HI Khuks. The KZ chops fine now, but this thing us just too darned heavy for me.
