The day is here, I have a freshly signed DD 214 in hand and am flying home for good on Sun. For those of you that dont speak army a DD214 is the Certificate of Release from the Active Army. My wife is extatic that we'll finally be together for good as am I. Its been a good five+ years but its time for the next thing in my life.

Starting early Jan Ill be attending Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston Idaho seeking a degree in nursing. Im looking forward to the challange as well as the change in pace. The new GI Bill is footing the cost as well.

I think tonight me and some of my friends are gonna go out and chow down on some tex-mex and drink a bunch of Dos Equies (sp?).
