I was looking a the Fenix LD20 just the other day. I love the fact that it has that super low brightness level, and that it's got a solid clicky switch. And the fact that it eats AAs is a huge bonus. What I don't like about it is that its regulation is so aggressive that it gives you no warning when its battery is dying. It maintains full brightness until the cells are empty and then it just switches off. I would prefer a flashlight that gave me some kind of indication that the cells are getting weak. I have a head lamp that turns on a tiny flashing red LED when you're running out of power, and that works well. You still have light but the subtle pinkish blink lets you know you're going to be in the dark soon.
