What are the most common steels used in the production of scarpyards?
SR77 (a derivative of S7) and SR101 (a derivative of 52100-B).
How do the compare to Infi, hardness,(IE: edge holding ,ease of sharpening )etc...?
Also corrosion resistance ,how does it hold up? I live in a coastal marine envionment (close to the Atlantic ocean!) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
