I, for one will be very happy to bid a good-bye to 2009!
Looking back, over the year, I've lost more than my share of family and friends.
Last count was 7. Not a fun time.
Also, closing out the year, I've lost my employment. I'm having to deal with
life on little income now. Not fun. Can't buy knives for awhile...sad state
of affairs, yes indeed!
On the bright side though, my wife and I are healthy, still have lots of friends,
and family who are standing by us at this time.
I've been able to change my focus in careers and am working on getting into an
occupation (nursing) that will allow me to make a positive contribution to my
community.
I've also been able to spend more time on my bushcrafting skills, and am even
getting back into fishing, which is something I haven't done in 35 years.
I'm hoping that 2010 will be a very good year for me, and I'm hoping that
all my friends on here will have great prosperity next year.
Cheers
