It IS good to see some Dogs do well.... especially guys who have never had some Infi... definately recommend going to a show if possible to handle knives before you buy. Jim makes some good points on choices...I think many here would agree who use their Infi that the steel's properties work best in larger knives for hard use...blades which might hit stones when chopping or knots in wood...the edge does'nt chip and can be steeled straight and will easily sharpen... so to me that works best in a chopping knife.

My NMFBM CG which I stripped and thinned out see's as much use as all my other Infi knives put together...although if I had the money a BWM LE would be very tempting as the spec's have it as nearly identical to the old SHBM's which go for crazy money...there is one on the exchange for $1600...Jim has a SHBM which I handled and still think it was one of the best handling knives I have held...so the LE version would be very tempting as well...but there is no substitute for picking them up and knowing how they feel in the hand....
