So for Christmas My dad got me some kydex and rivets, and I was able to get it done (save a belt attachment, all in time) I used a just a ban saw, a dremel, and a little sandpaper. It was a nice break from kinematics, Physics, and Engineering Math.
The first thing I did was the rough cut.

fallowed by a little shaping, dremel work, and sanding.

Now I know the "waves" are a little "agressive" inbetween the ritets, but I was going for a few things first and formost light weight, but also a place to wrap cordage around.
The rivets are a little ugly but they were with center punch and a hammer. I am very pleased with the retention, and the sheath as a whole.
