I like the Regulator with the full double guard, but I really don't need one. I have a pile of 7" combat knives. And my SOD LE fills that size SY knife well for my uses, not being a combat soldier.
I'm in the same boat. Except I've got a Camp Tramp instead of a SOD LE. But I just LOVE fighters. Problem is, I've got my eye on another one right now and I'm not sure if I can afford it and a Regulator too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

We can't buy them all, Bruce. I am hoping the new Busse Apollo 7 is not too expensive. But I have no need of it, either. It just looks so good to me. If I were a soldier looking for a great combat knife at a good price, the Regulator would be my choice.
