Any way you look at it, this IS a sad story. He would probably still be alive if he had gone with a buddy and done better planning. This is a perfect example of why inexperienced folks should not try this on their own, even if he had a few trips under his belt. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
Good points. I have to wonder how many out there in TV land are lulled into a false sense of security from some of these survival shows. I'm sure that there are people that don't realize that these survival shows have back up plans in place in case something goes wrong.
