That 154CM steel is a bit hard to sharpen. The upside is, it holds an edge almost forever! An Arkansas stone just isn't hard or gritty enough to take any steel off that Muk. It will just polish it and make it slick. Assuming you already have good sharpening technique that you have used on other blades, try some courser sand paper to get the "cheek" off the edge and then once you have your new bevel or convex edge meeting (a burr), go to finer grits. That diamond rod should also cut it. A good diamond stone will also work fine. Good luck. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I used my Kalamazoo belt sander to do mine.
