I don't know about a shipping notification. I don't usually receive one of those unless there's a payment problem (Discover fraud prevention sometimes sees a large out-of-town charge, and they freeze my account until I call to confirm that the charge is valid). However, Scrap Yard doesn't charge (non-PayPal) credit cards until the order ships, and since I see their charge dated 3/17, I know that the knives are on the way.
