It won't be your only RMD though; I recall that you're a big fan of the standard RMD. As such, variants are desirable and I know that the RatChute calls to you; I'm sure you'll really enjoy owning it. $30 is a small price compared to the amount of work to shape one like it with non-power tools (probably even less than you'd spend on belts if you used a sander), plus your coating will still be pristine.
