It's interesting...the new ones posted by Seth definitely look sabre ground, similar to the original DMCG. However the variants posted by Jim all look to be flat ground, similar to the LE / DC models.

I fondled my heavy DMCG last night for quite some time. I love the blade, the heft, and the versatility of it. For me, it has two choke up points: I can wrap my index finger in the choil to get a little closer...and for the real close up work, my middle finger goes in the choil and index straddles the spine.
