Welcome to the Yard, I am happy for you, I think my S6 is still about my favorite Scrapyard.
Yes the handle is the same as on the Dog Father.
I would have to say the lateral strength is going to differ a tiny bit form the DogFather while the thicknesses (.275) and material (SR-77 or S7) are the same the blade's cross-sections differs the Dogfather is saber ground while the Scrapper6 has a full height grind.
And if you some how break it you are covered by the most open warranty anyway.
