Nice review and pics HD. Just curious, how do you think the Reg would fare against the Scrapper 6 or the S5 as a camp knife?

Glad you got the knife!

I have tseted all three of these knives in tough outdoor conditions. Actually 4 couting the TT Reg. ( S-5-S6- Reg and TT Reg) That being said the Reg will suffice for a camp knife but is not as good as the S6 with the S5 a bit behind. As a straight fighter/comabt/ defense knife the TT Reg is the King IMO with the Mil overun right behind it. If I am in the bush-my Reg is great for shelter building and survival tasks and if I need a smaller blade I take out my Leatherman or a Vic Farmer that I have in my pack. The Reg is not the greatest camp knife- it will be adequate - but as for a defense knife- the thing is a beast and hard to beat . Just an awesome knife IMO.I also think that making sure you have a " scary sharp" edge on the knives like Vic applies is " key" to the success of ANY knife. This is my opinion- Vic might have another opinion. All are great knives under correct protocol. I don't think one knife does it all. Kinda like a house boat- it isn't a real good boat and it sure as hell isn't a great house -Thanks
