The freezing is one of the reasons I like going. No mosquitos, no gnats, no snakes, and most importantly, no people.
That is why I usually camp in the swamps at Winter. Except for the people part. People hunt deer and hogs in Winter. Only a few lunatics like me go there in Summer.
