Last but not least, I got some macro stuff.
I did a bunch of the rough polishing with an orbital sander (which is now one of my best friends). You can see some of the loopy scratch patterns.
I went straight from 80 grit belt to polishing by hand, and it shows. I probably should have done a bit of work on the 120 and 220 belts. It'll probably be covered with a dark patina by the end of the summer though, so the finish isn't really a big deal.

And the edge. Again, some of the loopy scratches are still discernible. I'm surprised it shaves so well considering how it looks under close inspection.
