... the whole user interface seems a little too complicated. Its not that I couldnt figure it out but I'd hate it if the thing got dim when I rotate my wrist.
It's really not bad at all once you get used to it. In order to dim, you have to be holding the button down. If you don't hold the button down, it acts like a regular on/off switch. Any of the "special" modes, including the dimmer, are activated only if you hold down the button. I wondered about operating it, but now that I have it, it's no problem!
