I was just thinking, I've had this S5 for a while and not really commented on it here in the forum. The S5 really does seem like a knife that everyone really needs to own. It's the most practical size knife that I own, along with my Ratmandu that I'm too pansy to use (it was a bit pricey for a college student budget). The reason the knife is so dirty is because I went to it when I needed to split some kindling and shave some fatwood for starting a few fires. I think for one fire I used a standard Ranger RD6, but unless much chopping is in order, the S5 is a great size for most chores.
