What is the Yard's thoughts on B-11 + / - vs the BWM.

I love my BWM...but I think it's because of how thin it is. Some may not agree, because that does take some of the "chopping" ability away from it....however, for my uses (camping / hiking) I don't know if I care for an NMFBM type knife by any means, and to me the BWM is a great middle ground for multiple tasks. Now, if it had Res-C, I think it may be my grail...hard to say.

Does the B-11's thickness place it in a "chopper only" role...or will it fly like the BWM? The BWM balances at the choil...which makes it handy (for me).

I reckon the debate for me is...would a B-11 replace the BWM? Most family / friends that see my BWM say "nice Machete"....they're clueless; however, the thin profile of the knife does attract me from that perspective....makes super short work of cellulose & I never get fatigued with it (sans chopping through an 8" limb on my dead tree!).

Thanks for any feedback...debacles of life

I have MANY choppers including DFCG and DFLES and can tell you that the BW is a better chopper and faster in hand than all of them IMO . I am picking up several Basics only because the price is a steal at less than the BWM- BUT- I don't think it will feel nearly as good " in hand" . The BW is simply the best feeling Busse chopper I own . The Basic scales are nice- but a bit small I am thinking for my big paws .It is a great value- but I don't think it is anywhere near the BW. I like the dynamics of the Bush so well that I am having it made of some others metals just for comparison. Both are great knives- Huge edge to the BW IMO -Thanks
