The 4 inch rule is always the safest option here in TN, however discretion goes a long way. +1 if you go out in public dressed like a thug you will get treated like one, if you look like a responsible member of society LEs will leave you alone. i have never been searched or even questioned (not that I would ever carry anything I wasn't supposed to <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> )
