We got to hit a 3,000 acre lake this week for a few hours. Lake Bruin in St. Joseph, LA. Beautiful weather and not a fish in site! Seriously, I did catch two of the hybrid striper bass, both under a pound. Monday night we rode around in the hopped up ski boat.




We set out an Orion telescope when the sky cleared up and I got this pic through the viewfinder! I could not believe how bright the moon was.



The next morning I hit it again bright and early but my luck only got worse so I started taking pics. I still had a great time! I can't wait to go back and catch more fish!
