I ran into a roadblock while modding my regulator into a bayonet. Now, I have to wait on some parts to get here. So, to kill sometime, and in true Scrap Yard fashion, I made something that almost resembles a knife out of the leftover parts of the M7 bayonet I cannibalized for the mod.

Here's what I started with.




Here's what I did to the blade I cut off the M7 bayonet.





There was no planning or drawings. I just started cutting and grinding until it felt good in hand. Then, I wrapped it in 550 cord like any good Marine would do, or at least one too lazy to make a real handle.







Not sure this thing is useful for anything, but it killed some time.
