I like the looks of the recurve blade, the sweep is gracefull. The wider forepart of the blade looks like it would add to its chopping ability. Is a recurve any more difficult to sharpen than a straight blade (field sharpening?)? I like the yard guard, wondering if 7" is just enough that it won't get carried as much or maybe it chops like the DF carries like the S6?
